When I was 10 my family and I went to Puramahoi in Golden Bay.
We stayed in a little cabin called Mary’s Bach, that was over looking the sea.
We had a fire on the beach one night and had marshmallows and chocolate biscuits.
We went to Wharariki Beach and slid and had races on the huge sand dunes there. We also saw a lot of baby seals playing in some big rock pools. And a mother seal in a cave.
We collected some cockles from a different beach and had them for dinner.
