  • Instructions
  • 150 denier fabric We use a high density/high thread count (Denier) PU coated polyester fabric for the fly, which we have developed over many years. This fabric has superior tensile strength and is 8 times more durable than nylon. It doesn't stretch or sag when wet like nylon does and is a heavier quality than comparable fabrics.
  • 4000mm aqua rated This fabric will withstand a 4000mm (4 metre) solid column of water for more than 1 minute before a single drop might appear through the fabric. New Zealand’s highest 24-hour rainfall was 758mm - so we’ve got you covered! We also double-coat our waterproof PU coating for even better coverage and performance.
  • Seam sealed The seams of your dome tent or shelter are the most vulnerable for water leakage. We use a custom-developed method of heat-sealing tape over the seams to maintain waterproofing, resulting in maximum protection against the elements at all points.
  • Twin stitched seams Lap felled seam construction (doubling seams around on each other) with twin stitching ensures maximum strength around the seams of your canvas tent.
  • UV protection For added safety and comfort the fabric has UPF 50+UV protection.
  • Fire retardant The fabric has also been treated with a fire retardant solution. Even with this protection, ensure you take particular care around heat and flames. Avoid using open flame, heating or cooking appliances in or around your tent.
  • Passivate steel frame The oxide layer created in the passivating process enhances corrosion resistance and reduces rust, which makes these poles great for coastal areas. Passivating increases the life of your poles and reduces wear on your tent. In addition, we are able to achieve more internal space and higher roof peaks.
  • Pin and ring pole attachment Quick and easy pole assembly and dismantling system.
  • Tri-tensioners We use triangle-shaped guy rope tensioners rather than in-line tensioners to ensure the ropes do not slip.
  • Speed-Clips Fast and efficient for erecting the tent. Flexibility allows for movement in windy conditions.
  • Storage pockets Handy storage to easily locate important items and to minimise clutter.
  • Lantern hanging points Conveniently located tabs to hang LED lanterns.
  • Size (cm): 430 W x 250 H x 430 D
  • Weight: 30.8kg
  • Great living space while camping Brenda Orr

We join three together for large group while camping they are great. Withstand reasonable wind before needing guy ropes. Much more stable than fibreglass poles. Definitely recommend
  • A great investment for camping MJ

We have just had our 2nd camping holiday with this shelter. We had 2 days of solid rain and having the shelter positioned over the door of our tent, meant we had an extra space to walk into without getting wet. We do have a good size family tent, but it just gives you the option of not having to bring tables and chairs inside. The steel framed poles hold up well in strong winds, so well worth spending the extra $$ if you can.
  • Money well spent Chris

Can highly recommend this shelter. We decided to spend the extra $$ and purchase this model because of the steel frames. Has held up well in wind and rain. Becomes an extra living space - especially when raining - as we set ours up over our tent door. Easy to put up and pack away.
  • Savanna 4 deluxe shelter Lynley

I highly recommend this shelter; survived two cyclones, gale force winds. When all other shelters collapsed this one stayed up and rigid. Money well worth spent.
  • The best piece of camping kit Craig Steele

After telling ourselves to buy one for a couple of years, we finally got it. Absolutely fantastic shelter for camping. Great as a kitchen and living area. It Holds up to wind and rain really well and doesn't blow away like our easy up did in the smallest breeze. After we put it up the first time it only take us half an hour to put up. We are looking at getting a second one to join together.
