My dream holiday would be to spend it with my Granny and Grandad who live in Christchurch especially Christmas. I would go up to the Rakaia gorge with Granny and Grandad, pitch my tent alongside their caravan (my tent is camo it is totally cool) then Grandad and I would go fishing and catch lots of fish for dinner. It would be so much fun. I think Mum, Dad, Nikki would come also and they would pitch their tents there also. There are lots of walks that we would do. We would take picnic lunches. This is my dream holiday & I hope it happens for Christmas 2009 once Dad has finished working here in the Solomon Islands.

We often go camping at Tararua forest Park,
And we get to stay up until it’s really dark.
We go fishing for eels every night,
But if we catch one we all get a fright.
Dad builds us a really big fire,
And we all roast marshmallows on a piece of wire.
Mum brought us a huge big tent,
And once it is up the poles are all bent.
We take our cool dog who runs around and around,
But we have to watch her so she does not go to the pound.
After a few days we all pack up the car
And drive back home which isn’t too far.
