Sales Representative - Outdoor Brands
Kiwi Camping Co. is one of New Zealand’s leading camping wholesalers, possessing a strong brand name and a reputation for excellent customer service.
We currently require a Sales Representative to manage selected NORTH and SOUTH Island clients. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL REQUIRE RECURRENT TRAVEL TO THE NOMINATED CLIENT BASE AND WILL NEED TO SPEND A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME IN OUR HAMILTON HEAD OFFICE. Hamilton based applicants would be preferred, but applicants based in other areas will be considered if the right person for the job.
With a focus on increasing sales, brand recognition and distribution, the Sales Representative will play an integral role in assisting the company in achieving its future objectives.
In addition to the Kiwi Camping Co. family camping range of outdoor equipment, the business represents the Kiwi Adventure brand of adventure equipment, consisting of Adventure Tents, Sleeping Bags, Self Inflating Mats, Backpacks, Dry Bags, Head Torches, lanterns etc. We also distribute and service Kovea butane products, Garmont range of outdoor and adventure footwear, X-Socks and X-Bionic garments.

The successful applicant will possess:
- A sound sales background, preferably in the outdoor leisure industry
- Superior relationship development and negotiation skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong commercial awareness and a distinct customer focus
- Willing to travel and have a passion for the outdoors
- Have a sound knowledge of computer based applications
